Hey, just thought I'd share my USMLE Step 1 experience
Study period: 3-4 months approx
Went over first aid 3 times, goljan patho 4 times (just the book) and uworld qbank once.
The week before the exam I did NBME 15 and 16 online (I felt 16 was more predictive)
The day before the exam I just did some light studying: read the rapid review part of first aid and went over the explanations of the incorrect answers in uworld.
The exam itself was long. There was enough time to finish the qs without having to rush. Most of it covered stuff that was tested on uworld or mentioned in first aid but there were quite a few vague questions that tested stuff I had never studied about, not even at Alfaisal
Pharma was really tested rigorously in my exam, especially side effects of drugs. Patho and physio were as well. Biochem was extremely low yield, might have had like 5-6 qs and neuro was low yield as well. Biostats qs were few and not too complicated.
