Acquiring United States Clinical Experience

This talk will be given by Dr. Eiad Habib and will consist of a comprehensive guide for obtaining US Clinical Experience, mainly clinical hands-on rotations, and includes detailed steps of requirements needed to apply. The speaker will also share an up-to-date resource containing all the hospitals that accept International Medical Graduates for hands-on rotations, current and up-to-date as of February 2020. All other elective options, including VSAS and third party companies, will be discussed as well.

This talk is especially important for current fifth year students as some elective places are about to open up seats starting in March, but also for interns seeking more elective opportunities and fourth year students to orient themselves with the process.

Dr. Habib will also be giving a quick overview about the USMLE Step 2 CK experience including sources of studying, practice exams and his personal exam experience. There will also be a Q&A session at the end to answer all of your concerns.

The talk will be concise and to the point in order to accommodate everyone’s busy schedules and will take place on Monday, February 17th from 4:30-6:00 PM. The venue will be announced soon.
